Breakfast was varied and very tasty. We were offered a room upgrade free of charge and the wellbeing of our dogs was taken into account. We used the sauna at the end of the day and it was lovely. The area is also very beautiful and the village is worth visiting! We loved our stay there and the staff was welcoming and helpful regardless of the language barrier (i.e., we don't speak German). The rooms were spotless clean. Other reviewers complain about the building not being very modern or modernly furnished.. this is not a chain or a Best Western and it's in a small village so it's definitely unreasonable to expect new furniture every year! Would definitely stay here again!

I liked a nice location next to the highway, family tradition displayed in the main hall, good restaurant and well equipped rooms. Very good price to value ratio.

The owner greeted us personally, waited for us since we arrived late in the evening, he was very helpful, even made us coffee in the morning, which was very much appreciated!
