The place is fantastic just in front of the sea. The staff are friendly and helpful full of good vibes! . I stayed 5 nights and every day was full of new experiences, fresh food, friendly faces and access to kitchen and fridge. They guys showed me the best spots to surf and also provided with tips. I planned to stay a few days at sin fronteras and ended up staying a few good weeks. I enjoyed the laid back, peaceful vibe of the hostal. Martín is a great host (he also speaks excellent English). The hostal is very close to the beaches, and you can even rent a longboard if you want to lean to surf. There is hot water which was super nice to have especially at night, there is a big kitchen where you can cook, and you can do laundry.

I went for 3 nights, stayed for 2 weeks! What a perfect place to relax recharge during your trip. Double beds, sheet changes, free breakfast all within metres of the beach. The outdoor kitchen keeps cool when its hot, the room has fans but always has a breeze and the beds are comfortable. Perfect for a low-key beach hostel.

Mudhouse is absolutely the best hostel in Mompiche. The owners are so friendly and the hostel has everything you need. A lovely kitchen, great showers and the best WiFi in town. I had a wonderful time here!

What a gem in Mompiche! Beautiful location, very friendly staff. My husband and I are vegan and the chef/owner was very accommodating to our dietary requirements at short notice - very lucky for us to find such delicious vegan food in Ecuador!
