Our weekend trip succeeded beyond expectations. We enjoyed the peaceful ambiance coupled with the Iisalmi Jazz Friday night event with world-class musicians, plus a ballroom Dance Saturday session during our stay. We appreciated the spacious twin room with super comfortable beds, fine dining with exquisite Nordic flavours (compliments to the chef), friendly restaurant staff, relaxation in the rarely found Finnish Smoke Sauna (marvellous experience) and spa. Here, the natural beauty of the river flowing by and the tall trees and forest around us were captured through the windows in every room. Superb.

A suberb cabin in a very nice location near the river and rapids. Actually it is more like a complete house than a cabin. And you have a wood stoved sauna for your use! The owner is very VERY nice gentleman who is extremely helpful and attentive. Can definitely recommend this unit!

    We were welcomed by Raj, who made sure our stay was extra comfortable. We were traveling with a dog and he immediately showed us pictures of his dogs which made it feel like we met with friends. The interior is eclectic but done in a tasteful way. The dinner room is a true eyecatcher. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast and dinner delicious.
