It was such a lovely surprise. I just needed some place to stay, and this place had everything I needed and that extra something 💕✨️. I was the only one for breakfast, but it turned out to be such a cosy start for the day, with wild herbs and all. Quiet and clean accommodation with a common kitchen. Lovely beach, view, and nature.

A very nice house for 1-2 families depending on the number of kids. It has everything one needs, is comfortable and the location and view are great. The sauna and everything else was very clean and well maintained. Hint: The complete address for the building is Merilänrannantie 68e, not just 68 as in the listing.

The perfect option, who wants just a nice simple cottage for a couple (or small family). There are all necessary stuff, like dishes, cutlery etc. We really love the firepllace! The place is super quiet, the ski track is nearby. I would say, that I don't mind to stay there again. Thanks!

It was much cosier than in the pictures and was spotlessly clean. This small resort functioned like a well oiled machine and the caretaker was on hand offering assistance/ taking conscientious care of ploughing the snow to aid our exit and entry to the property. It was very very cold when we visited and the snow was mounding up continuously, but there was firewood on tap and the sauna was wonderful. and the view/ position amongst the trees was just idyllic. The cabins are in the perfect location for visiting Koli national park; witnessing the crown snow load alone was worth the drive from Helsinki. For anyone doing the same be aware that driving in the snow can increase the predicted driving time by 1/3!

    Lovely staff, really friendly. The room was cozy & spacious, the balcony was a nice surprise. The bathroom served its purpose. Beautiful location, peaceful, quiet area with a large yard & a kota building. Breakfast & dinner were good. It was also a lovely surprise that there's a sauna & a pool, which I got to use all by myself (by luck? :D) which felt luxurious.

    Nice and quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite sufficient. The hotel's location is great for hikers, Kolini, Patvinsuo and Ruunaa national parks are about 40 minutes away by car. We recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature. After a day's hiking, a warm sauna awaited us. There is a barbecue hut in the yard, where a larger meal is also prepared.

    Located in a stunning lakeside landscape with a view to Koli. The famous ice road starts nearby, though whether it's open is subject to ice and weather conditions. Touring skates and skis are freely available to guests. A selection of saunas is available, including one on hot standby (with a lid) and free to use in the house I stayed in. The property is suited for companies with a grilling pavilion and saunas on the shore. Traditional Karelian wooden interiors in the main house.

    A wonderful guesthouse in a lovely, scenic location by the lake Pielinen, with delicious food and the best furry mascot - a friendly, easy-going Finnish Lapphund named Lilli. We stayed in a generously sized room with comfortable beds and a nice view. The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner, and the guesthouse was also selling lovely local products and hand-carved animals. The guesthouse also had a great lounge room area upstairs that our toddler absolutely loved.

    The receptionist was very helpful and nice. The room was very spacious, clean and quite nice. The hotel is located in a quiet location. We really liked the room with air hockey, billiards and similar games. The breakfast was also okay. There were also plenty of parking spaces.
