Just a note that the young lady on reception Thursday 1st November at 9pm was lovely. She spoke with me in English as my preferred language, as funny, welcoming, informative, engaging and made me feel welcome and uplifted after 12 hours of travel. She is great and you should celebrate her. Now breakfast was also lovely. Fresh french bread and a great continental spread. I had coffee, breads, yoghurt, muesli, cooked meats, cheese, eggs and butter - a fantastic and delicious start to the day which kept me going until 3pm!

So close to everything, train station and the centre of town. Breakfast is amazing. Best breakfast in over a month travelling, particularly loved the tarts (3 different kinds), the fact it’s organic and the fruit juices.. just everything was super good. Great recommendation for dinner at Le Tigre, just what we wanted not touristy. Hired bikes and cycled out into the countryside along the canals.

We had a wonderful stay with a lovely host in a beautifully restored traditional house. The breakfasts were delicious and the location was very convenient for day trips by tram to explore Strasbourg old town. We also appreciated the secure parking by the front door. The hospitality was outstanding and a highlight of our trip.

the appartment is a duplex appartement and is very big. the kitchen is wel equiped and there is airco in the bedrooms. Even though the check-in and check-out hours are limited our host was very accomodating despite our late arrival and early departure.

    It is a great hotel if you are travelling by car and need to stop for the night. There is plenty of free parking outside, a petrol station less than a km away and it is near the various motorways. The room is a decent size, it was clean and quiet and the wi-fi was decent. You can have breakfast there if you want but there are no restaurants, shops or cafes nearby and you are basically in the middle of nowhere.
