Spacious house, very large bathroom which is very nice (hair dryer included). Washing machine, dryer for clothes and dishwasher available, means extra free time for visiting and relaxing. Clean and comfortable: lots of common used things available (microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, wine opener,...). The lady of the house is very friendly and stays in contact through booking.com. She informs if extra things are needed and answers immediately when you have a question. We visited lots of places during our 10 days stay and enjoyed our holiday. Thank you Sylvia!!!

I really liked how welcoming and kind Pierre was. The location was easy to find, and the place was quiet, which made for a restful sleep. The beautiful garden and the lovely home added to the charm of the place. It was great chatting with Pierre, and I also enjoyed how friendly and adorable their dog, Scully, was. Scully got along wonderfully with our dog, Roosi, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The converted stables were very spacious and comfortable for us. We were six adults and had five bedrooms and two bathrooms with separate toilets at our disposal. The kitchen was very well equipped and outside there was also a barbecue we used. The dining/lounge/kitchen area was very comfortable and spacious with three patio doors letting plenty of light and air in. Free WiFi and access to digital television channels was also available. Outside was just stunning. Very private and quiet due to long private access road and farmland on all sides of the property. Horses and cows grading there. Plenty of seating outside as well to enjoué the country view. The property was in easy access of the cities Calais, Boulogne and the picturesque seaside resorts with the fabulous white beaches and clear blue water at Hardelot-Neufchatel and Le Touquet Plage Paris. Just beautiful. Bakery, supermarket, petrol station, restaurants and places of interest are nearby (lots of golf courses, equestrian centres, castles, museums and first and second world war memorial places). We fully recommend the property and the area for touristic exploration. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and took great pride in making us very welcome. The same friendliness applied to all the locals we met. Great region, la Côte d’Opale!
