Room was sunlit, spacious with lovely decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was nice and large and very comfy. Large shower. Room felt very clean and fresh and was lovely and warm as it was a chilly night. It was no problem to put our bikes in the hotel garage.

I arrived in the evening just in time for a delicious home-prepared meal of four courses. I was travelling on my own but all the guests were seated together and we shared stories. Really excellent value for money. In the morning we met again for a generous breakfast of fresh croissants and breads. The host was chatty and welcoming. Nice views over the valley. I slept in the dorm room, which was clean with comfortable beds and a shared bathroom/shower room.

A very nice apartment, with beautiful furnishings with attention to detail. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Jacuzzi was a big plus (especially after a long hike). Very quiet area, we slept very well, beds also very comfortable. Location is very good, you are quickly in Geneva or in the mountains for hiking or biking, beautiful lakes also close by. Exceptionally great host, always easy to reach and he gave us great tips for the region like for restaurants or places to visit. He also told us about the history of the building, which he extensively renovated a few years ago. If you are looking for an authentic stay in Haute-Savoie, this is the place for you !

Nice place to stay with good quality rooms and a comfortable bed, I would certainly stay again if I was in the area. The breakfast needs to be improved though as its super basic with just two cereal types ( flakes or sugary granola with chocolate pieces ) and a nice croissant & bread / juice / coffee for 12 euros. I asked if there was anything else and the lady replied its a continental breakfast ( which I was already aware of ) but she did come out with a yogurt after her phone call. By offering some oats ( not everyone wants sugary cereal ), cheese / ham & boiled egg would really transform the offering and not cost the owners much more and make it worthwhile for guests, presently it doesn't represent value and in my opinion its not worth it. I didn't eat in the evening so I cannot comment about that. I am not out to give the owners a hard time, I think they are new to the place and clearly there making a real go at this, its a really good place to stay but with a few simple tweaks could make it perfect.
