Lovely view from the Herriot suite, sitting at the kitchen table. Comfortable bed, nice shower. Kitchen small but sufficient. Great coffee machine! Contact with the owner/agency was efficiënt and nice. Nice small town, hike area etc. The Kings Arms across the street serves nice meals.

We only stayed for one night but really enjoyed ourselves. Location was very good with a couple of pubs within walking distance. The hotel was lovely and hosts were very attentive. The honesty bar was well stocked and cocktail hour went down very well.

The rooms are not cheap compared to other local hotels, but you are getting a lot extra to make the stay both comfortable and memorable. The staff were excellint and friendly. The docor of the hotel is lovely. A lot of effort has gone into the ambience and layout. The food, both breakfast and dinner were very nice. A good choice.

This place is fantastic possibly the best we have booked! The attention to detail was fantastic with comfort at its best. Right on the river so short walk to the falls and into Aysgarth. Communication with Emma was brilliant. Loved the RIVER DANCE chopping board boot rack and many other brilliant touches. All appliances were very high quality with good instructions on how to use. Very very warm as we were there over New Year and huge storm which made the Aysgarth Falls spectacular. Lovely walks close from the doorstep. Beds very comfortable and Towels and bath robes embossed which was an excellent touch. Walked to the Aysgarth Falls hotel and good IPA Black Sheep pint. Lovely log burner to make the place even cosier. Highly recommend this cottage for a Yorkshire Dales stay . Many Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage.

    My wife travelled alone with our two dogs as I was taken into hospital. The property and location far exceeded her expectations. The scenery and walks are exceptional. We are hoping to return as soon as possible when I am ok. The location is perfect for dogs.

    Lovely welcome and customer service throughout our stay by the owner. Great little pub and you can see they are starting to put their mark on it. Great food even though it was busy the evening we ate and smashing breakfast. Lovely room. Very accommodating for the dog. One of the owners is coeliac as is my partner so it was great that she was catered for in both food and beer with plenty of GF options. We will be back.

    Absolutely immaculate. Beautifully decorated and everything you needed. Good quality bedding and towels. Welcome box was a lovely bonus. There was a dog box if you needed a dog bowl and towel etc as well. Enough kitchen amenities such as kitchen roll and dishwasher tablets. Stunning location and very near local pub and shops.
