    Great pub, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff that could not do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. Food was excellent with wide variety of drinks on offer at very reasonable prices. This was our third stay visiting friends close by, and the place gets better each time. Rooms comfortable and decorated and furnished with everything we required. Also dog friendly and they were treat so well and made to feel welcome at all times.

    Everything you could need in a clean perfect size lodge. Great location, lovely walks with the dog. BBQ was a lovely addition.

    I just love everything about staying here I would give more than 5 stars. Breakfast is fantastic and I don't eat meat. The location I absolutely love.,quite lots of wildlife wonderful walks. I actually sleep which never really happens for me. My dog pip feels at home. Fantastic walks and pam the owner such a lovely lady so helpful really great and interesting to chat too equally feels like a friend. I never feel like I've stayed long enough

    Cosy dog friendly Home from home with private secure rear garden , near the town center but very quite , with a pub , curry house , shop and cafe all on the same street, comfortable bed , friendly host , powerful shower and parking space , we had a fab time with plenty of walks on the Doorstep

    The room was quite large and the bed very comfortable. Our little dog was well catered for with a bed and home made treats. The breakfast was adequate. Enjoyed the quiz in the bar although it did drag on a bit. Overall a very pleasant stay.
