Good substantial breakfast with all the trimmings and filter coffee. Thoughtfully they provided a fan to mitigate against the hot weather. The shower worked a dream and all was spotless. The staff answered all my questions and were very friendly. The hotel has a colorful history involving smugglers! The adjacent bus stop made onward travel easy.

Truly exceptional! We had an amazing stay! Eventhough the weather was bad, it didn't stop us to enjoy canoeing. The place was so clean with a touch of some work of arts. We had a goodnight sleep coz our bed was so comfy. In the evening, we had bonfire in the lawn area whilst playing music and telling stories which kids love. And of course, very accessible to Camber Sands Beach. I highly recommend and love to come back again.

Hythe is a beautiful village near the sea, which is at walking distance. Nic is a very pleasant and helpful host. The room has a separate entrance, its own terrace, is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The facilities are excellent. Allen Ridge is perfectly situated if you just arrived or have to depart via the Tunnel.
