Beautiful location, welcome hamper on arrival and friendly host met us upon arrival and gave us a walkthrough of the house and grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious with fresh towels and toiletries supplied. We had a group of 24 and we wanted for nothing as everything you needed was supplied and we cooked several meals with ease. The hot tub was lovely and hot and ready to use.

Beautiful inn in the English countryside. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay after a long day walking on the South Downs Way. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the room quaint and comfortable.

The Alfriston Hotel is by far the best we’ve experienced. The style is elegant, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the room was spotless and beautifully designed. We loved the peaceful spa and the delicious breakfast every morning. Everything was just perfect – we felt truly cared for. The village of Alfriston itself is charming and full of character – the perfect setting for a relaxing escape. We will definitely be coming back!

    A lovely, homely cottage in a peaceful location with great facilities including a full kitchen, lovely bath and shower. The private garden was very pretty and perfect for our dog as it was secure and easy to access. The extra touches, like bread, eggs and butter were also really appreciated. The cottage is a 2 min drive or 15 minute walk to the local cafe and pub so was great for eating out plus some lovely walks nearby.

    The location was lovely and peaceful. Fran the host was friendly and welcoming. Sole use of the garden was great as our dogs could roam around safely. Lovely little tokens of fresh milk and chocolate biscuits from host along with tea, coffee and other kitchen essentials. Dog towels were an excellent idea. We had a lovely stay. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like the property was clean and comfortable. We will definitely visit again.

    Location was perfect for getting to most of Sussex including beaches, walks, pubs and historic sites. Large enclosed garden for the dog to play in. Apartment was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were lovely and were on hand if we needed anything.
