Picturesque Yorkshire Village with The Countyman's Inn as the focal point of village life. The pub looks from the inside like you would expect an old English pub to be , with a few modern vibes ( german beer).The food is good old yorkshire grub , but more modern food is available too. And it's all yummy , especially the breakfast.The rooms are quirky but clean and have everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here , and the service is superb.

    Excellent hosts made us feel very welcome. Most importantly, the place is very dog friendly. It is a community hub of the village. Our room was very clean and comfortable with all facilities, including a coffee maker machine. With good water pressure the bathroom shower was excellent. The superb breakfast was freshly cooked while we waited. There is a selection of evening meals. Our scampi and chips was delicious.

    The country pub was lovely and the Dan and lisa the landlord and landlady couldnt have been more helpful. Breakfast was beautiful with plenty of choice. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable and absolutely spotless. The en suite bathroom was spacious with both bath and shower and also spotless. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again dog friendly aswell which is a bonus.
