The place was very clean and spacious. It easily fit the 5 of us and an extra kid or two would still find a place to sleep. Two bathrooms and a VERY spacious kitchen/dining/living area. A big patio outside with tables and chairs - the weather was great, so we had our morning coffee outside. You park your car right outside the patio on a designated parking spot - great for hauling your luggage :) Located in a holiday center with its own golf course. Very quiet area, with places to go for a walk, a playground for kids to enjoy and a tavern, which unfortunately we didn't have time to visit. There is a Tassimo coffee machine with a choice of coffee pods. There was milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread with complimentary butter and jams - a very nice welcome pack, especially since we forgot to visit a store on the way. I can definitely reccomend this place - for families and golfers alike.

Perfect location in the middle of a lovely borders village directly on the St Cuthberts Way. Village Shop and great local pub within a minutes walk. Great food in the pub with friendly locals. The location is great and the hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were all wonderful and helpful. The food was far above my expectations. The dinner was very tasty and elegantly presented and the breakfast was out of this world. They often multiple choices to please everyone. I had the smoked poached halibut with poached eggs. It was spectacular. Thank you to the staff for such great service and kindness
