    The setting was beautiful, the really lovely garden and the canal and narrow boats moored up nearby. The food was lovely, one of the best veggie breakfasts I've had. And very dog friendly. Our room had a patio on the river so access to some outside space for ourselves and our greyhound was great. And finally the staff were friendly and more than helpful.

    Loved the location and the village feel, very welcoming lovely staff nothing was too much trouble. Pet friendly, so even better. Even the locals were welcoming and friendly! Food was lovely, too great coffee in the morning and fab cooked breakfast. Thanks for having us!

    We loved that the whole place - pub and rooms - are dog friendly. The decor and furnishing were very comfortable. The setting between the river and canal was delightful! The garden looks gorgeous and we are thinking about returning for an evening out there in the summer. The food at dinner and breakfast was lovely!

    The room was just beautiful - spacious and warm and with an amazing peaceful view. One of the most comfortable hotel rooms I’ve probably ever stayed in at this price point. Also, completely dog-friendly throughout which meant that our pup also had a wonderful time.

    Lovely little pub in a pretty location by the river and canal. Great location for walks. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our dog was also made very welcome. The rooms were clean, comfy, warm and had everything we needed for a one night stay. We ate dinner and breakfast at The Dundas Arms. Both were excellent. We hope to return.
