This pioneering young couple have taken on a massive job of returning this establishment to its former beauty. Room by massive room it’s being restored and it’s going to be amazing when they finish. We absolutely loved our stay here. Carpets, paint and the bathroom for room 9 are all almost new. The staff are all so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed dinner in the bar and breakfast in the dining room.

We were given all details before we arrived so it was easy to find the keys and get into the property. Every thing was lovely and clean and we felt right at home. We took our 1 year old pup and they even had a little blanket and towel for her. Welcome milk in the fridge meant that we could have a drink straight away which was very welcome after a long drive.

It's a nice building that had plenty of quirky decorations. Nice open space and being pet friendly was a huge help. It is also an exceptional area to travel to Greenock or Wemyss Bay while staying for a fraction of the cost. We were greeted with a card which was very warming. Very close to the bus stop and a local cafe which was exceptional.

    The house was IMMACULATE! Especially for being pet friendly. We had a great stay for the weekend, everything we needed and more was provided and the host was so helpful and very quick in getting back to me. Would 100% recommend for a lovely relaxing stay, our dog loved it too! Clean, spacious and modern. Would love to come back :)

    Location ideal. Dogs were made very welcome. Lots of little touches around flat was lovely. Plenty of towels left out for showering and hot tub. Bedding was clean and tidy. Hot tub was super!

    Great location , just across the road from the ferry station . Lovely staff , everyone was really friendly and accommodating, we had a dog traveling with us and we had no problems at all . They also organised that we could have breakfast in the bar area so our dog could stay with us , thank you for that and for all the recommended places to visit . We will be back for sure .
