In my view, with Drimsynie, Lochgoilhead is the best wee village in the World (I live in Greece, which has some cracking wee villages, and I have travelled a fair bit)! Drimsynie is an excellent place to go to for a long weekend or a longer holiday, with or without kids. Adults and kids of all ages will love it! There is so much to do and the staff are always willing to help! The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and whether you are golfing, walking, or sailing, you cannot help but be taking in by the majestic scene that is Lochgoil / Lochgoilhead, and the surrounding hills. As a holiday destination, Drimsynie is an ideal place for both active and relaxing holidays! We stayed in the hotel this time but I have also stayed in one of the lodges, and I would recommend both! This is a gem of a hotel and holiday destination!!

    The location was fabulous. Steps away from the beautiful loch. Sat in the garden staring across the water. Such beautiful views. Our dogs loved it here too. The garden is one hundred per cent dog safe so they could play and lie in the garden without having to worry about them getting out. There is loads of great dog walks around too.

    Beautiful house and grounds right on the loch. Very peaceful. Exceptionally clean. Friendly and personable host (Marcin) who offered helpful suggestions and tips for our time in the area. Comfortable beds. Loch view from our room. Our twin room was great. However the fancier room opposite (a suite with rolltop bath) looked gorgeous - if we stayed again, we would splash out on this. Very dog friendly. Recommend lovely nearby walk (3 mins drive away, further down the loch) at Cormonachan Community woodland. Good value.
