Perfect holiday home, very cosy and has everything you need. Super clean. The beds were comfortable and we slept great. Loved the garden for my dog. Very close to local town and shops, we enjoyed exploring the local area and further afield in the beautiful Peak District. Host was super friendly with good communication. There’s a busy road outside but it’s not loud at night, ear plugs were provided in case of disturbances but we didn’t need these, the host thought of it all. We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again!

Very clean, warm and well laid out house. Kitchen was well equipped and everything fully functional, and great attention to small details, like nice clean blankets for when it got cold and everything was easy to clean. Great location for hiking around Matlock. Lovely and quiet surroundings but not isolated. Note, its quite a steep climb up from Matlock center but we enjoyed it. Also it was very dog friendly and easy.

The property was spotless, and was equipped with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay, logs for the fire and a welcome pack was a bonus. It Was lovely to wake up to the amazing view every morning and have easy access to the field behind so the dogs could let off some steam. We would definitely stay again

    Another great stay at the watchmakers. Perfectly renovated to make the most of the space and the allocated parking bay is very handy this is a perfect base to enjoy the local area and wider peak district. Also if you like good food and drink the respectable hare over the road is excellent and is dog friendly but be warned the portions are huge especially the pizzas

    Absolutely everything was quirky perfect clean ....even some crumpets for breakfast was a cute touch. Allows dogs...has Internet...warm!!!! Pubs nearby and fish and chips ...late check out....11am It's a ten from me!!! X🙂🌟🥰 By the way the bed was the most comfiest we have ever stayed in!

    Lovely cosy accommodation in excellent location in the centre of Matlock. Very stylish with everything you need. Very dog friendly with dog bed, blankets towels etc but never felt “doggy” like some pet friendly places can. Immaculately clean and had a parking space outside. Highly recommended.

    Property was spacious, had everything you might need and exceeded expectations (which were already high). Lovely location for walks around Lumsdale and into Matlock via footpaths The Tavern at Tansley was nearby, staff were wonderful providing water bowl, dog blankets and treats along with a tasty Sunday lunch Perfect for our first family get together including granddaughter and her doggy big brother! Snow made it even more magical! Thank you Sue for a very special stay
