    Stunning location, apartment was super clean and beds very comfortable. Tastefully decorated in keeping with the surroundings. Fantastic walks on the estate and everywhere very dog friendly. staff very friendly, house tour included in the stay and highly recommended. All that you would expect from a National Trust property

    A week, self-catered, so breakfast was up to my usual standard! There is nothing to "not like" They have thought of everything. Welcome box of goodies for us and the dog, first aid kit, sewing kit, dog bed, lead, poo bags, sun hat, picnic blanket, toiletries, even toothbrushes! Honestly could not fault it. Nice easy 5 min walk to the beach, some good local eateries to go out too (some do delivery), and a great base to explore this part of Scotland from. If you are going to Scotland...stay here.

    Location was brilliant, just a short walk to the beautiful beach and a short walk to the amenities of the town. Lots of great places for dog walks with a big dog friendly field at the bottom of the street. The property was clean, tidy and very welcoming. We were left lots of little treats including tea/coffee, biscuits, crisps etc which was a lovely touch. Everything you could need is there (and more). So much attention to detail too in the decor. Can’t wait to book again!

    1st its dog friendly , clean dog bed in the room with a bowl of complimentary biscuits . The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable . The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent so yes I would recommend The George hotel to anyone looking to visit Montrose , we certainly will stay there again.

    Great location for exploring the area. Accommodation is clean and comfortable. Pet friendly although we don't have a pet. All the things like doggy poo bags and bowls were supplied. Didn't have to contact the hosts as everything was supplied and working. Would definitely use this place again as we loved it .
