    The staff were definitely a highlight for us - super friendly and helpful from check in until check out. The rooms were a little dated but comfortable, clean and with everything we needed. We brought our dog and were made to feel very welcome - filling water bowls, dog treats on the bar and lots of fussing of her! Dogs allowed in the bar area so we ate our meal in there (still tables etc for dining). Food was delicious- I can highly recommend the chicken sizzler with Moroccan orange sauce!

    This is a good value for money, local pub in a great location for Northumberland countryside. There are great views from the restaurant. The staff are helpful and very friendly - and they allow dogs too!

    Nice pub setting. Room was a lovely size with a good en suite and a good view out. Was very dog friendly. We had an evening meal there and it was very good - and big portions! Breakfast was fab too.
