The room was very comfortable. Lovely setting and grounds. Bed was big and comfortable. Being able to have access to a dog walking area was a big benefit to us.

I was travelling with my dog and the hotel were exceptionally helpful. They provided some lovely soft dog bedding and bowls. At breakfast I asked for a sausage for the dog as we were going off to a competition and I wanted some nice rewards for her, and this was nicely wrapped in foil and cut into small pieces. There was a fairly noisy event going on in the bar but my room was very quiet and everything was shut down at midnight (I was well asleep by then). The hotel staff warned me about that and were very reassuring.
