I was satisfied with everything and felt very well looked after. The fortress Mystras is visible from the villa, and the drive to the main entrance is 1.6 km. I visited Mystras twice because it was so beautiful and interesting. The villa was a comfortable size, and the surroundings were pleasantly quiet. The welcome when I checked in alone at night with first food, drinks, and small gifts was very pleasant. Restaurants are within easy walking distance.

This is my second time to this hotel. It's not just a hotel but a Sparta experience. Melies hotel sits on a hill top with breathtaking views of Sparta, the olive grove covered valleys and exceptional mountain views. Each suite is eclectic, funky and fun while remaining comfortable. The grounds are beautiful to walk though and the main terrace for dinning, pool and sitting area is beyond inviting. The staff is friendly, helpful and always there with a smile. They offer an amazing breakfast with lots of culinary choices for lunch and dinner.

It was very close to the bus station and to restaurants and shops. The apartment is spotless and the kitchen well stocked, it was great to have a washing machine at that point in our Greece tour!

Mr. Panos, the host is a very polite and caring person. He called us multiple times before our arrival to make sure we would have everything we would need. The house is in a remote village of Taygetos, perfect for getting away from civilization.

The host was wonderful and went out of her way to respond to any request. Check-in and out cannot be easier, the flat is well-appointed and comfortable. Its big plus is the easy parking on a quiet backstreet seven minutes out of the city center, by foot.This is a very, very competitive option on a busy weekend, when Sparta's hotels are fully booked. Bravo for the effort and kindness! Warmly recommended!
