The dorm was nice and cosy in a treehouse setup and the beds were still so comfy. The hostel was very clean, especially the bathrooms, the staff were super friendly and the location is a 40 min walk from Semuc Champey, so easy to walk or take a tuktuk if you prefer. The food here is AMAZING, we were really really impressed and it was very fairly priced for the quality and remote location. It's not a budget hostel so if you're travelling on a shoe string, this place isn't for you. There's loads of areas to chill out and enjoy, the pets are also the sweetest. Besides some dogs and roosters it’s very quiet. The surrounding is lush green. Semuc Champey is a half an hour to one hour hike away. You can also wait for a colectivo to take you down or up. The staff is very friendly. They have a lovely dog.
