It is a lovely private place located in an amazing location. The host Juanita is a lovely person. The place was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the shower was hot. Plus it is right next to CECAP for an amazing breakfast and view!

We came in last minute as we were sick and needed to extend our stay in Panajachel. The place is lovely with enormous potential. I had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Lago Atitlán. The house is a true gem by the lake — simple, yet it has everything you need. There’s hot water in the bathroom, a fridge and stove in the kitchen, plus a coffee maker and, of course, coffee. The location is peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. The highlight of the house is definitely the balcony with a hammock, where you can relax and enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the lake. The host was incredibly kind and helpful — he even helped carry my luggage to the house. Sunrise Lago Atitlán is about a 5–10 minute walk from the San Pablo dock. It’s definitely easier if you’re traveling with a backpack rather than a suitcase, as the path isn’t ideal for wheeled luggage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature!

    The hosts and the good work they do in the community, the lovely location, views, access to kayaks, private dock. The pets, the open/outdoors kitchen. The fact that the host live on the property and are accessible, but you have just enough privacy and can relax in such a comfortable and gorgeous space.

    The views are amazing, the room size was great and the amenities as well. The staff was very nice and they made us feel welcome. I recommend to reserve the restaurant dinner as it was on point. We loved Lila (the dog) and there was a cat that was super friendly.
