We loved everything about Dakpa House from the location to the cleanliness to the staff and their excellent service. It was nice to be able to walk for 5min and dip our toes in the Indus river and then come back to a great meal served up by the staff.

I absolutely loved my stay at Raybo. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. As an added bonus they have a dog who is super cute. Everyone that I met there was lovely and created a great vibe in the communal spaces. It's located only a short walk away from the main square. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the hostel itself was easy to find thanks to the directions they provide. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Oh, I don't take hot showers but I think that may not always be available based on what my roommates had said. I think you need to plan what time you'll take a shower if you want to ensure you'll have access to hot water.

Wang, Dolma aunty and Samir made us feel so loved and taken care of! We landed early in the morning, but they had some amazing chai and our room ready for us within minutes. Every morning, my partner and I were so excited to wake up, just to be able to taste dolma aunty's home made bread. Samir makes excellent omlettes! Wang took care of all of our travel needs. He helped us get our permits, dropped us to Rumbak village for a hike, helped several others in the house book their kardungla road trips and also dropped us off to the airport for our departure from Leh. When we had an unfortunate accident at the hike, Wang prepared himself to come rescue us, which goes to show how above and beyond they go. We loved their house so much so that we extended our stay at the house by another couple days. They also have multiple sweet kitties on the property, who love to lounge in the sun and never bothered us. We also really enjoyed the our room and the location of the property. There's a lot of restuarants, supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance. The leh market is 15 minutes away with a lot of shopping stores along the way. Perfect home stay, can't wait to go back here with my parents soon.

Heart and Heaven Homestay was like a home from the first moment. The location is great, just one street away from the main market, yet on a quiet side street, making it perfect for rest and relaxation. The homestay is very stylish, everything is clean, the rooms are huge and comfortable, the furniture is beautiful. The whole place has a really welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, it was just so good to come back here. The rooftop terrace with the full panorama is simply breathtaking, the most beautiful view you can imagine. But what really makes this place special are the wonderful people who run it. Not only are they super nice, funny, helpful, and flexible, but they also have a special ability to build community. The rooftop terrace has been the scene of countless deep conversations, big laughs, and cool music.
