Such a wonderful place in between Umbria hills, La Fortezza Alta welcomed us warmly providing everything we needed. The stay took place in one of La Fortezza's lovely apartments, with Wi-Fi and Air conditioning to counter summer's heat during our working days. We had a swimming pool right next to the apartment which was the cherry on top, to be used at our discretion any time we wanted. Francesca took care of every additional need we had, for example providing us a can of their wonderful home-made extra virgin olive oil for our lunches or setting up morning breakfasts for all of us. We are grateful to have discovered such a wonderful place and we are looking forward to coming back to Umbria and staying again in this wonderful medieval castle.

The place is a little oasis. Surrounded by nature, amazing views, accompanied by a cozy homey feeling. Everything was really well taken care of and peaceful. We really enjoyed the clean and refreshing pool on hot days. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The setting for breakfast by the pool was idyllic, and it cools off at night in Acquasparta, so we didn't really miss having air conditioning. We were able to open the windows/doors since it is in a very safe area. The location is close to town and also to the highway, and very centrally localized, making it a great home base to visit other towns as well. My family and I would highly recommend!

    The house is beautiful, inside and out. It's a real italian villa! There are two bathrooms for the two bedrooms, the kitchen is well equipped, and we even had a pingpong table! You can park the car in a safe location, and everything is easily reachable by car. The host was also very nice, and the communication was quick and easy. We've even received a welcome package with drinks and snacks. Thanks for everything Pietro!
