Breakfast was outstanding - HUGE. Arrive hungry. Our host was SO gracious and accommodating. He even brought us some fresh tomatos and salami to enjoy with our wine (on our patio) the night before.

Our time at La Colombella was absolutely wonderful - a home away from home. Outstanding hospitality from Graziela and Alessandro. Peaceful and serene location. The property itself is a 1000 year-old farmhouse but the interior is warm and comfortable with all the modern amenities (cozy room, comfortable beds, hot shower, good Wifi!) Breakfast was an experience in itself comprising freshly-made jams, homemade cakes and more, served in their beautiful lavender garden. The location was a bit out of the way, but still served as an adequate base to explore the Val d'Orcia area. Highly recommended!

    Great location - flat up stairs to top floor with a secured gate at the top to ensure dog was secure. Beautifully furnished and really comfortable - great nights sleep. Views from windows were stunning. Small shop just round corner sold everything you could need to cater for yourselves. Host was amazing - took the time to tell us about the history of the place which made it extra special.

    Fantastic location with great view on the top of a hill, very nice big house with gorgious apartaments. There was many other guests but we have felt very comfortable. Very nice hosts Our every request was fulfilled. Comfortable beds, plenty of space in the dining room, well-equipped kitchen.
