If you need a quiet getaway, Corte San Ruffillo is the right place to be. Absolutely quiet, you can hear only the frogs from the nearby river at night and the birds in the morning. The breakfast was more Italian then continental, but with high quality. We were allowed to have our breakfast in the garden, as we love to have long and relaxed breakfast, and having breakfast inside, on a sunny morning, is not an acceptable option for us. The pool was great, clean and a lot of space for everyone to find his spot. We also had dinner here one night, absolytely romantic place for a romantic dinner. And last, but certainly not least, everybody in the hotel was extremely kind and polite.

Excellent quality rooms with comfortable bedding and quality bathrooms. Breakfast was superb and the restaurant served fabulous dishes with seasonal and local ingredients. Excellent wines to match. The staff, including owner Jacopo were very welcoming and made our stay particularly enjoyable.

Everything! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was exceptional! From the reception, bar, spa, restaurant, grounds staff. Everyone was super professional yet so personable. The spa facilities as some of the best we've been to. Fantastic variety of pools, saunas Turkish baths in the most beautiful setting. The selection at breakfast was out of this world! We've stayed in 5 star hotels and the quality and variety at times hasn't touched this. Plus fantastic coffee! My mum and I had an evening meal in the restaurant.... the veal was amazingly tender and the pork jowel was so tasty! The rooms are huge and so stylish with everything you'd need and more and the bed and pillows were so comfortable and great quality! .

We really liked the location of the accommodation – quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the highway and the sea. The hostess was extremely helpful and always willing to assist us. She came every day to clean and prepared breakfast for us. We truly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend this place.

Everything about our stay was outstanding. The local food cooked to a very high standard. Even the scrambled eggs for breakfast and blackberries with ice cream were the best we had ever tasted The local wines especially the choice of sparkling wines. The views are stunning. Anna and Alberto were so helpful, we were meeting from around the world so changed arrival and leaving times at short notice. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff were helpful, cheerful friendly and efficient. The pool is clean, perfect temperature and commands stunning views with excellent cold drinks at the bar. One of our group is a birdwatcher who was delighted with the birds he could see while eating great food in a stunning setting. Modigliana and local villages are beautiful and historic.

    This is a high specification property in a beautifully quiet natural environment. The pool and public spaces are slick and beautiful. The room was charming with bell ringing ropes in the shower- what a delight! Really helpful staff, and great breakfast. Thanks for a great stay.
