Mombaruzzo is perfectly located for wine enthusiasts who want to experience both the classic wines of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero as well as those from the Monferrato region (some excellent Barbera and lesser known wines including Ruché) but its fantastic Amaretti Morbido are the star attraction (the café around the corner makes the best). The villa is beautiful the appartment is extremely comfortable with a great view over the village. Paola, who lives on site, is very friendly and helpful. There really is very little to fault about the place (see below for nit picking) and it is amazing value for money.

This was truly an amazing stay with wonderfull views over Piemonte. Paola the host makes sure everything is taken care of, breakfast is great and a la carte and dinner is local and of top quality. The pool made the holiday, as our kids loved it after a hot day in one of the lovely cities nearby. We would definitely recommend staying here! Also as a plus we would recommend the wine tasting in the village (also with kids).

Amazing straff and customer service, delicious breakfast, amazing restaurant, breath-taking views and overall the most relaxing place to be. The rooms are so comfortable and beautifully decorated. This was our second stay at La Villa and we will return again and again. One of my absolute favourite hotels.

This place was exceptional. The accommodation was beautifully spacious, very clean and a lovely comfy bed with crisp cotton sheets. We had arranged to eat and when we arrived we were totally blown away by the quality of the food & wine. Paolo is a winemaker by day, truffle hunter by night and passionate about the Piedmont region of Italy. Our breakfast was utterly delicious and it was a joy to chat to Paolo about his vineyard and the history of his family and their agroturismo. We definitely recommend this place especially if you are a foodie.

The stay was perfect! Foremost the host, Marilena, was great. She cooks a splendid breakfast and was very helpful with tips about the area. It felt like coming home away from home. The surroundings are beautiful, and plenty to see and do in the area. The rooms are equipped for every need.

    Il Noccioletto is located in the countryside in a very peaceful area, with stunningly beautiful scenery and many vineyards and opportunities for wine tasting. It is also evident that the owners, Betti and Rocco, have put their heart and soul into the house. The room was large and the breakfast was wonderful, they always had time to talk to me as a guest and gave me a lot of great information on what to visit in the area.

    Beautiful location, very peaceful, excellent food and restaurants close by. Beautiful views, parking, Paola was so helpful and very good at checking in, making sure everything was okay. The kitchen was very well provided with all the tools needed.

    The hotel is amazing, the location absolutely breathtaking. The staff was very helpful (booked restaurants, booked the Berta tour and guided us through the hotel facilities). The hotel is perfect is you want to relax, enjoy the landscape, nature and good food. The restaurant is top notch!

    The location was lovely, the staff and hotel itself were great. The owner is amazing and she did a great job with the facility. I was a little disappointed regarding the lack of wine production and substantial upcharge for surrounding wines (a 9.50€ bottle being sold for 24€). I enjoyed my time here but would not stay here again and can’t fully recommend it unless you are looking to spend money for a fancy experience.
