I booked this for my elderly mother, who was getting the ferry from Sardinia on her own, and given our outward journey was very delayed, I had written to the host, Tanya, saying that my mother might arrive late that evening and was reassured that there would be no problem at all with her getting access to the flat - whatever time she arrived. My mum texted Tanya when she got a taxi from the Port, and was met at the flat. Tanya then showed her somewhere she could eat that evening and offered to come back the next morning to drive her to the station to get her early train to Florence. Exceptional kindness. You couldn't ask for more.

This place was simply stunning, equipped with everything you need and quiet. Unfortunately, we only stayed here for one night, because we were on our way back home. We saved it in our list of places we will come back to later. Full recommendation!

Really lovely place, super friendly staff and the grounds man have done a fantastic job with the place. The pool is nice and the seating area is lovely. Highly recommend staying here over than in central Pisa especially if you have a car. We’ve done both and wish we stayed here instead of central the first time. Central & Airport are 10-15 min drive and there is an incredible resturant 4 mins away called Ristoro Risotteria Grigliera that you must check out while you’re here. Rooms are super clean and a decent size. Thank you for hosting us :)

Matilde was a lovely, helpful host. The house is very nicely decorated and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated as were the fly screens on every window - no mosquitoes indoors! Fresh sunflowers in a vase and a bottle of wine from the estate was a lovely touch on arrival. Gorgeous outdoor pool with fantastic views of the Pisan hills. We very much enjoyed eating alfesco on the covered veranda in front of the house. We loved exploring Tuscany from this beautiful base, as well as the grounds. We didn't do a wine tour, but i believe that you can book one. A really memorable holiday, thank you so much!
