Spent a night in Transilvania hotel. Cannot understand people complaining about lack of light and dark shades. The name of the hotel clearly states that it's not a usual one with a hint of mysterious atmosphere as it was in Drakula times. I travelled all over the world and I would definitely rate it as a "boutique" hotel. There's no other one like this around and if you like mystery and into Drakula style movies this is for you. I think it's even cheap for the interior investment put into it initially. Roberta, hotel manager, is such a lovely lady with who you can have a laugh and listen to a lot of stories, very personal approach which you will never get in IBIS style chain hotels. 100% recommend!

It was a fantastic stay. The facilities are super good, everything is clean and all is prepared for a pleasant stay. Fresh fruits, yougurts, water, coffee and even milk upon arrival, my children and I were very pleased.

If you are walking the Via degli Dei or looking for a peaceful place to stay close to nature, don't look any further. We (a couple in their early 30s) stayed at the Refugio for one night in a 4-bed dorm room. These were the first bunk beds in a long time, where you couldn't actually feel it all moving when the other person moved a finger! They were super comfortable too, and if you are not hauling your sleeping bag around, it is possible to ask for bedsheets as well. The bathrooms looked like they were recently renovated and were super clean. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and plentiful and provided the opportunity to connect with the other hikers. Wifi is available at the property but be prepared for spotty phone coverage (or maybe it was just our provider).

A stunning place with a lovely host. We arrived for one night, a couple with three children. A place with an ancient and stunning design. Comfortable beds, lovely shower, everything clean with a pleasant smell. Stunning view!! Delicious and fresh breakfast. Highly recommended

    The location is very close to the exit of the A1. The house has a yard and a private parking. The house was spacious, clean and comfy. Everything we needed we found. The host was very friendly, discrete and yet available. I would recommend this place to everyone. The house is located in a small town with a pretty good provided supermarket, pharmacy and pizzeria. The view from the church veranda is gorgeous.

    Location handy for the motorway. The Hotel matched the anticipated theme of Transylvania; Giorgio fitted the bill, he was kind, helpful and as the whole place, a little alternative, thank You Giorgio Toasted sandwiches made in the evening for guest that felt hungry and the price fair. The room and bathroom clean and tidy.
