Lovely room with amazing view over the valley. Clean and comfortable, very easy to find thanks to videos and directives from host. Great communication. The room is ideally located in the pedestrian historical centre but only few steps from parking. Nice selection of teas and herbal teas offered.

I've never been in a more rustic environment than in Mendatica. It's the ideal retreat from busy city life! You can walk for days in the forests without encountering anyone, see lots of wildlife and starry skies. The cabin is big and very well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The kitchenette is well-equipped, with pans, pots and bialettis, an induction cooking plate, a fridge and an electric oven. The owner, Piero, is very helpful and friendly. Something to keep in mind: Mendatica is very small. Consider cooking yourself (nearest restaurant is 15 min by car) and visiting a supermarket before going up in the mountains. But there is also a very small shop in the village for some basic groceries (pasta, passata, canned foods,...)

    The apartment was comfortable, and there was a spectacular view out onto the mountains from the bedroom. The location was perfect for me as I had family staying close by, but it was also well signposted, which made it easy to find. I made an arrangement to pick up and leave keys directly with the host, and there was a nice breakfast with some delicious home made jam. There is a fridge and there are cleaning materials in the apartment. The bathroom and shower were good.

    Beautiful room, gorgeous view, I highly appreciated attention to all the details, nice breakfast. Giacomo was super friendly, he recommended the local restaurants, as well as things to do and all the information about the activities, as well as very interesting information about the history of the Triora and the area. I asked for two wine glasses which he kindly provided, and we had a nice aperitif in their beautiful garden with the candle light. Also our dog had a nice time running around the garden.
