The hotel is in a very peaceful location on the lake, well away from the big crowds that you’d find in Como. Christina greeted us with such warmth and made us feel very welcome. Her and her staff worked tirelessly for all the guests. The Hotel is probably the best 3 star you will find. Everything was very well looked after and kept tidy. The Hotel is located near some outstanding restaurants, the one we preferred was Baia di Parè who had a full gluten free menu and baked their own GF Bread. Their food is outstanding! I highly recommend Hotel Bellavista.

I was able to fully experience Italian culture and food, and the hotel staff, especially Roberto, were friendly and kind. It was close to the train station and ferry station, so it was easy to get around.

I am travel by motorcycle and it was a rainy afternoon. I arrived a little bit early and the owner came within 5 minutes to let me in and helped me get settled. He assisted me with the washing machine which I didnt know how to use, Because it was raining, he suggested to use the coin dryer a few km away in town. He graciously offered to drive me. While we waited, we had a delightful conversation and exchanged information on our cultures. I live in Japan. He introduced me to a restaurant in town which I had a wonderful meal later on. The following morning the sky was not looking too great and he said not to worry if I needed to stay past check out time. Motorcycling in the rain isnt fun. The whole experience was like staying at a friend's friends home.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Very cute courtyard, made the hotel very calm as well. Free parking, just have to park "like the locals" wherever your car fits as there is no assigned parking lot.

Apartment was good prepared for the guests. Our Host prepared nice and useful note about apartment itself and surrounding (views, stores, restaurants etc.) From our perspective place contains everything we need +. Our host was very nice and responsive, so we never felt like being alone with our questions. Thank you Fabrizio for everything!     We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights when attending a wedding nearby. The hotel is very well located with a beautiful view of Lecco and Lake Como from both the rooms and the breakfast area. The family running the hotel is so friendly and made us feel very welcome during our stay.

    We stayed here 2 nights. We were in Room 106, beautiful room with a huge veranda/ balcony overlooking the lake. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Valmadrera is peaceful and a great location to visit the hustle of Bellagio and Como and then return to a more relaxed vibe that Valmadrera offers.
