The host welcomed us and showed us around the apartment ,our own private courtyard and a shared garden which was fabulous.The apartment had everything we needed private kitchen with large fridge, oven and all the kitchen essentials.The apartment and the whole of Frasteva was so nicely decorated and well thought out. The private bathroom was great with a lovely shower.There was plenty of room in the apartment ,a comfy bed ,good sized bedroom with space to store your holiday clothes etc.It is ideally placed for getting to many of the places we wanted to visit - the Roman villa ,Syracuse,Taormina,Agrigento( and Mount Etna is not far). The host was able to advise us on how to get around - in our opinion you need a car and there is car parking available for Frasteva guests. We liked Catania also - lovely to walk around with plenty of shops ,churches and cafes.

Very easy and straightforward instructions for self checkin. Responsive host to my last minute booking. One of quietest nights I have had whilst traveling. Lovely spacious apartment, the couch was perfect spot to chill and read my books. Large bedroom and bathroom. Top floor with a little balcony to step out onto. I came to see the Carrivaggio at the museum, it’s a good 30 min walk but pretty easy, with a nice wee beach just close to museum. It’s less than 10min walk from train station, try via Etna for morning coffee and pastry. Gran caffe was my favourite one. There are lots of Roman sites to visit and the photo is from amphitheater just 5 min walk away

Very nice B&B with everyting you need. Very easy to get anywhere in Catania from here. When you go back, I'd recommend using a Lime scooter, because it's uphill when coming from the city centre.

    The best time in Sicily. Patrizia the owner and her husband were super nice, warm and willing to help out with anything. The house, the swimming pool and grounds covered with lemon trees were amazing. We had a blast and would reccomend any family or group of few friends to stay at the Villa. Location is slightly secluded but you will see that that is an advantage. Thanks again for a wonderful stay Patrizia.
