Great patio in a quiet village close to the Ala Archa park. Note that if you plan to hike in the park, you will have to get a hitchhike as the start of the hikes is about 9km inside, by road. But there are lots of car going to the start of the park for picnics. The staff was really nice and very helpful. Communication in English on site was limited but translation apps always save you! You can only pay with cash at the hostel and in most places (except for the hotel Oliva) so bring some notes with you.

The owner of the place, Ms. Meryem, was so kind and so humane that I can’t even describe it. The location was perfect, within walking distance to everywhere. There were 3 toilets and 3 bathrooms, so you never had any difficulties with such things. The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped

The house is cosy and would be perfect in warmer days to spend some time outdoors having breakfast or dinner. Location score depends on your needs, for me it was ideal being so close to the Western bus station (+/-20 mins walk) but if you need to reach the center (shopping malls etc) then it takes an hour or so (although the bus stop is just across the road I personally prefer to walk). Supermarket is near by as well as some cafes. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Maria who offered a ride to the station when the weather was so miserable 🌧️ I'll visit Bishkek again next year and would definitely prefer to stay here at least one more time 😊
