They also shared great tips about things to do nearby (such as admiring the river dolphins just before sunset). They even know tuk-tuk drivers who can help with transport. I loved how the modern lighting highlights the wooden details of the house. I stayed in a private room near the dorm, and they gave me a woven basket for my belongings and a fresh towel. The shared bathroom was very clean and well taken care of. This place is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay by the river.

We had a wonderful time at Hak's home. He really did his best to make it feel like home. During our travel to Cambodia, we have been visiting a lot on our own but here we went on the countryside tour with him and it was nice being with a local as he could tell us many things about local life and even teach us some Khmer. Hak is very friendly and funny too, we had good laughs. He and his wife cooked a nice breakfast to us and we got to try local fruits. The room we were staying in was simple and nice. We definitely recommend this homestay !

beautiful resort and most amazing private huts! decor was amazing and a roll top bath! great for couples wanting to treat themselves. the island is unique as well and a must for off the beaten track with no cars and to cycle around for a real authentic Cambodian life feel. food was delicious and pool was great. one of our fave places on our trip! can’t wait to come back!
