A brand new hotel with a pool next to the room(ground floor). You can literally jump into the pool from your room, take a swim and get out to be back in your room again (We didn't do it because it was December, but definitely do it if your are in Laos during the hotter months). The rooms are spacious and perfect for couples. The staff is warm, polite and always there to attend to your requests. We loved the regular supply of delicious mangoes in the breakfast everyday! I have stayed in many high-end hotels with generic breakfast, but the breakfast here tasted better, even if the breakfast spread is not huge. I found an adorable cat sitting outside our room in the balcony. The cat didn't want to leave us, and neither did we, but cat lovers can expect a pleasant surprise, though not everyday. The location is just the right distance from the center of Luan Prabang, which can be quite crowded over the weekends. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a great option.

I stayed in a small tent for one night and it was more comfortable then some hotels i had in the past. Great pricepoint and the location is beautiful. The tent was equipped with everything necessary like a light, towels, a comfortable matress with warm blankets and even electricity insinde the tent. Everything is kept in great shape and the staff was super friendly and helpful. At the campsite they offer lots of activities including spending time with the horses they have. Just a great place to stay and spend time.

The staff at La Casa Nostra were exceptional. After arriving later after a very long bus journey over the Vietnam border, I was greeted with incredible hospitality, being offered homemade food when I asked where I could grab something to eat. The breakfasts and family dinners were fantastic and the staff always went above a beyond to help you with any queries. I loved the homely vibe of the hostel and hope I can return one day.

Our stay at The Nam Khan Resort was absolutely amazing from the moment we checked in until the end of our visit. We spent three wonderful nights there, and everything exceeded our expectations. The room had an incredible view, was spotlessly clean, and we adored the refreshing lemongrass scent throughout. The soothing sound of the river flowing nearby made it a true retreat for us. We enjoyed a massage by the pool since the spa and wellness centre was under renovation, but it was still a relaxing and delightful experience. The in-room dining was excellent, and the staff was extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and attentive—truly some of the best hospitality we've encountered! We were so impressed with their organic vegetable garden and the way they grow fresh produce to serve their guests. As someone who also makes and runs a soap and skincare business in Australia, I was thrilled to see they create their own natural shampoo and shower gel. It made me so proud of Laos and The Nam Khan Resort for this sustainable and thoughtful touch. There were plenty of activities to enjoy at the resort, and we hardly felt the need to leave. Although the weather was a bit cool for swimming, and the sauna was still under renovation, we had such a great time relaxing and exploring the premises. Overall, we are incredibly grateful to the Nam Khan team for taking such wonderful care of us and making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely return the next time we're in Laos!     Good location by the Nam Khan River, great view. The staff are very friendly and supportive. I thought I booked the river view bungalow but it turned out to be the garden view. The staff was very nice to move me to the river view one. Spacious room with large bath room. Free car to take the guests to the city center anytime. They have dogs.

    The food prepared by the owner/chef Peter was tasty and inventive as noted in many reviews. The location of the hotel is quiet, but with a fascinating morning market a half block away. The common eating area is pleasant and shaded, and the shared bathroom was kept clean.
