Amazing, tasty, varied breakfast and dinner Helpful owner: He organised a safari for us (very good price), trip to Pidarangula and even when I had a problem with my teeth he went to shop for pills. This place was such a pleasant surprise! They opened recently, so everything is brand new and perfect, but what really stands out is how much the owners clearly love what they do. You can immediately feel it in the cleanliness, the kindness, and even the care they put into the decorations. The bathrooms are spacious and spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and everything feels welcoming. Truly recommended!

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. It had strong water pressure with hot water, and great air-con. It says ‘Eric~South Korea’ I guess because I’m here now. I’m from California and I’ve traveled 126 countries. I was very sick when I arrived at the hotel. I slept long time. When I woke up, I came out and the first thing they did was offer to bring breakfast at 11:30am on several plates. That never happened to me in Cal., any other state in my country, and no other time in these other countries, except this place. When was the last time you were offered the complimentary breakfast at 11:30am?!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. He truly went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us great local tips. His warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We had a lovely stay at Jay’s. He is a great host and his sister is an excellent chef. They made us a great dinner and breakfast with vegetables from their own garden. We often read ‘the best curry’ in many reviews, but I can truly say that this where the best meals we had during our trip in Sri Lanka (and we had many good meals).

Very friendly hosts, good food, including breakfast which was cheap. The location is great if you wanna stay in a more quiet place, a bit away from the town but close to the impressive temple! I had a really good stay.
