At the time of our stay they were building a descent size pool. It would be nice once finished. Private and quite area. Acess to motorways to go down south or Kandy side was easy from nearest town of Piliyandala.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. I felt like I was at home. Safe and extremely comfortable. Nelson and his wife are amazing hosts, went above and beyond for me while I was here. As a solo travelling woman he made sure I was safe and had everything I needed. I even stayed an additional night. Breakfast was so good, rooms are large and clean. Beds are comfortable (slept so well). Nelson had so many tips and recommendations on what to do and see in the area. I can’t fault anything. I will be back. Thank you so much!

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Green Retreat Hideout. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right — quiet, spotless, and full of warmth. It’s tucked away on its own bit of land, so there’s no one around — just you, the fresh air, and the peace. That sense of space made the whole experience feel extra special. You’re close enough to everything, but it still feels like your own little world. Every detail was spot on — from the comfy setup to the thoughtful touches that showed real care. You can tell it’s been put together with love, not just for looks but for actual comfort. Honestly, it was one of those rare places that actually feels better than the photos.
