I stayed at this accommodation for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The owner is very nice and gave me a lot of support in planning the journey to and from the hotel. He also planned the safari for me. This was a great experience as the guide had a lot of knowledge. Another highlight was the dinner. The room was perfectly fine for the two nights. The room was very clean. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful location surrounded by nature, with a big garden, where the delicious dinner buffet is served, made mainly from local food. Our room was a bit further, near a lake, and we were offered to use bicycles to get there faster. It was a peaceful place and the owner and all staff are super friendly and hospitable, you might find yourself leaving having another friend there. He arranged a full day safari in the Wilpattu national park for us, which we enjoyed very much. If you are considering visiting the Wilpattu area, we highly recommend staying here.

Very nice experience we had at this accommodation 👌 The members of the staff are very kind and you get this family warmth feeling when you stay at this place. I had an epic time at the Mango Villa Willpattu followed by an unforgettable safari spotting 19 different animals! Dinner was exceptional! I felt very safe, welcome and accomdated. Money well spent!

    Great location, located close to the entrance of the park. The suite has a plunge pool in the shade, very refreshing! Beautiful lake for birding located right behind their property. The guys are super friendly and also advised on type of safari. The safari itself was out of this world, while many cars did not see much that day we saw 3 leopards, elephant, bear, and much more.

    Very friendly staff and excellent diner (3 courses). Location close to the park and binoculars are offered for the safari. We enjoyed our safari. It is a beautiful park and we saw many birds, deer, one elephant and one leopard for 10 seconds in the bush. Based on the good reviews we had hoped to see a bit more of a leopard, but we were happy because the day before no elephants or leopards had been seen. So you need to be a bit lucky.

    A good location close to park entrance. Anton was a charming, knowledgeable host, with excellent english. A keen wildlife photographer. Breakfast and evening meals were very good, and safari breakfast and lunch plentiful and tasty. The safari, organised by Anton, was excellent, especially birdlife and leopard sighting. Binoculars and wildlife books were available to use. The whole stay was very enjoyable.

    We absolutely loved our time at Anton's. He could not have been more helpful, answering all our questions before we arrived. The rooms were simple and clean. The food was so delicious - especially the dinners served in the cute dining room with lamps. The hotel is only a few kms from the national park entrance. Anton arranged our safari with Harsha, which was great, and even drove us to our next location. A perfect stay.

    It was only a one-night stay but really a great experience. We were received with a cold drink and even had the chance to go to the lake for a walk and see animals. The dinner was delicious and the next morning the safari was a great experience, we saw leopards and that really made my day. Nice hospitality and good communication in order to make all the plans. Would recommend a stay here without any doubts and Wilpattu is a great National Park.

    The loveliest host with thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Also helped us out with getting some things we needed in town, and gave us a lift to the bus station. Clean room, gorgeous dinner with a special / romantic set-up. Perfect location, short drive to the national park. Highly recommend.

    The perfect location to stay if you are in for a Safari in Wilpattu NP. Hi Almost next to the entrance. We recommend to book a day tour in the park with the owner of the lodge. Anta is a super host and a super tour guide and can tell a lot about the wildlife and the park. The lunch and breakfast in the jeep were excellent. On your return you will be treated to a delicious 3-course meal in a romantic setting in the garden. Always different and very tasty. Just a big THANK YOU!
