Beautiful estate bit away from the main road with cows, dogs, chicken and peacocks. Nice outside pool just next to the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. The chef took very good care of us and even helped us to prepare our Christmas dinner. After staying for one night we extended our stay because we fell in love with the people and the place.

Amazing place! Definitely worth the trip off the beaten track. Local villagers so friendly and this ecovillage grows everything themselves. The food is amazing! We wish we had time for the cooking class. Very well designed with many common areas that you always feel you have private space with amazing views.

Jay’s and Anju’s place is one that cannot be missed! ! Located on the route from Dambulla to Kandy close to both cities and many other attractions, like hill walks or waterfalls. The hotel is located in a scenic location bordering a beautiful Paddy field. We were able to reach the place in 10 minutes from the Kurunegala Clock Tower. The tuktuk charged us two dollars for it. The staff welcomed us very warmly and prepared everything we needed. There is a restaurant serving Sri Lankan and Chinese food at affordable prices. They are very tasty. But a bit spicy. They charged us a very reasonable price for the bottle of wine we got at this restaurant, which had both local and foreign liquor. They also provided free laundry service, and they were kind enough not to charge us anything for morning tea. Although there are a few things that need to be improved, we are indebted to them for providing us with a fair and valuable accommodation for the money they charged us.
