Everything was excellent! We had the best breakfast we've had in Sri Lanka. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. They even gave us a free ride to the bus station early in the morning. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Unexpectedly found, It is small villa, with mini fridge and kitchen. Room is plenty for 2 of us, with a comfortable bed. Everything was there that we can think of like hot water, A/C, and the internet. Owner of the place was very kind towords us.Beach near it was one of the best. He arrange a village tour for free of charge. Breakfast was also good. The time spent there was very enjoyed.

Ample space with lounge area, 2 comfortable beds and a long balcony. Also, spotless with great decoration and crisp bedsheets. 2 AC units, Staff and owners were very helpful. Modern bathroom with shower cubicle and a jacuzzi bathtub. Very clean. A decent new swimming pool. Cooked us delicious dinner which we loved. Hotel overlooking a beautiful river where we watched speed boating, jet skiing and other rides. We also went on boat safari. Stunning views. Very near to Aluthgama Bus Station. We love it. Will go back.

The beauty of the place was only equalled by the incredible and profound kindness of the hosts, who went above and beyond to make every single thing perfect (from our arrival at the station to the surprise juices and welcome meal, train bookings, visits & tour advice in the room and spotless cleanliness all over…). A brother and sister so hard working, attentive and sweet we will remember them fondly! The villa is absolutely gorgeous: spacious, so clean, amazing pool exposed in the sun… We had bikes that helped us go around wherever and whenever we wanted - greatly appreciated! The room/apartment itself is incredible. Bedroom with comfortable bed, intimate terrasse in the garden to have meals and drinks at, loads of space, beautiful bathroom, kitchen to allow us to make our own foods, wardrobe… The way to the beach is so lovely and wild, we greatly appreciated our walks/bike rides to get there every day.

I had an amazing time at Lila Lodge. From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed by the friendly staff. The room was perfect,,spacious, clean, and the friendly staff made my stay extra special. This was the best homestay we stayed in Sri Lanka. I can't express how amazing this place really is. The villa is gorgeous. Really big with beautiful furniture. Two large bedrooms with comfortable beds and air con. Both bedrooms have an en suite. The swimming pool is just what you need on a hot day to chill out and relax. The villa is located close to the beach. The hosts are wonderful who helped us with many things. We felt there like a part of a family. Simply amazing!!!
