The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). Added to this the very relaxed vibe of the place made it the perfect place to end our holiday.

I really felt welcome at this stay and enjoyed my time there a lot, even stayed for one night longer than planed because it's an amazing place to calm down after arriving in Sri Lanka or before going back home. The stuff is very friendly, the breakfast was super delicious and I also liked the cooling in the pool! Also the area itself is beautiful with all the animals and plants. I'm a solo traveler and really appreciated the help of the resort manager and his team. The manager even took me to the beach one day so I could hand out there for a couple of hours. They also show me the way to the bus station. Beds are very comfortable.

Super chill host, makes you feel right at home. The cottage is totally separate from the main house, so you've got tons of privacy – way better than most homestays. The family welcome us so friendly! They were all so nice and lovely. The food was so delicious, because they cooked fresh for us and the dogs were so cute! We had a nice overnight and it was a pleasure to meet all of them. I can recommend this place! It was in the middle of the „jungle“. The family gave us many tips.

Bethany Homestay in Katunayaka is superb! The rooms are spacious, offering great privacy. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Although it's located 7km away from the airport, the convenience and hospitality make it worth the distance. Highly recommended!

Everything was wonderful. The place is this beautiful colonial building sorrounded by the lush greenery of Sri Lanka. They have two pools and the restaurant is facing one of them. The rooms are beautiful as well. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner and all the staff was very helpful acommodating the needs of my two children. It was too short of a stay. I'd have loved to spend some more time enjoying the facilities. We stopped there because our plane was arriving at the airport in the evening. From the airport to the Villa is just around 20min.
