Rivendell twisted tree What an incredibly beautiful place this is. When I arrived I could barely exit the taxi, as I was feeling incredibly sick. The chef supported me while I walked towards a chair. During our stay I needed to rest and stay in bed. Everyday the owner of the residence called to check up on me and offered me a dokter. It felt like he genuinely cared. So did the other staff members who were super attentive and made sure I didn’t lack anything. I can’t highlight it enough, the surroundings here are amazing. The perfect place to relax in the nature while being looked after by great staff.

We had a lovely stay at Jay’s. He is a great host and his sister is an excellent chef. They made us a great dinner and breakfast with vegetables from their own garden. We often read ‘the best curry’ in many reviews, but I can truly say that this where the best meals we had during our trip in Sri Lanka (and we had many good meals).

Probably the best accommodation we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka ! We loved everything about this place! Perfect location to relax (you ll hear the sound of birds on the morning), very cute little house for 2 people, comfortable and well decorated. Good food, and last but not least, an incredible host! From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcome at this beautiful estate, nestled in lush greenery and surrounded by spice, fruit, and vegetable plants. The owner and his team are lovely and try to accommodate you as well as possible. What makes this place even more special is its support for the local village community. You can enjoy delicious, authentic Sri Lankan meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A range of activities is offered, including village tours and scenic hikes through the beautiful surrounding nature. I’ve rarely felt so relaxed, completely immersed in the peaceful natural setting. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though understandably quite basic due to the remote location. We will definitely be back!

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. It had strong water pressure with hot water, and great air-con. It says ‘Eric~South Korea’ I guess because I’m here now. I’m from California and I’ve traveled 126 countries. I was very sick when I arrived at the hotel. I slept long time. When I woke up, I came out and the first thing they did was offer to bring breakfast at 11:30am on several plates. That never happened to me in Cal., any other state in my country, and no other time in these other countries, except this place. When was the last time you were offered the complimentary breakfast at 11:30am?!
