We visited silver hill Ecovillage for 2 nights to relax before driving back to Negombo and fly out of the country. It was a great idea for relaxation and organising ourselves. The place is truly the last house on the hill and it is peaceful and full of vegetation. There is a small pool with natural water which is nice to cool yourself down, I loved the hammocks in the kitchen area with the amazing view where I read my book. If you decided to go please pet Lassi, the cutest dog ever. She’s nice and playful and made us smile many times😀 Just a note about the road going there - be mindful that the road closer to the hotel is not paved and a bit rocky but we managed to cross it with our Tuktuk.

I stayed overnight at this hotel and was very pleased. The room is comfortable, there is everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Delicious and varied food is prepared and served upon request at any time. The owner of the hotel Anju is friendly and caring, very pleasant to talk to and friendly. On my next trip to Sri Lanka, I will definitely come to this wonderful hotel.

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The hotel is located in a scenic location bordering a beautiful Paddy field. We were able to reach the place in 10 minutes from the Kurunegala Clock Tower. The tuktuk charged us two dollars for it. The staff welcomed us very warmly and prepared everything we needed. There is a restaurant serving Sri Lankan and Chinese food at affordable prices. They are very tasty. But a bit spicy. They charged us a very reasonable price for the bottle of wine we got at this restaurant, which had both local and foreign liquor. They also provided free laundry service, and they were kind enough not to charge us anything for morning tea. Although there are a few things that need to be improved, we are indebted to them for providing us with a fair and valuable accommodation for the money they charged us.
