Harry was super kind during our stay at Afenta. Nothing was too much and he offered us tasty restaurants and gave us good tips for the area. Mihintale is also a beautiful village with beautiful nature.

Amazing view from the hotel room. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The personnel was super friendly and helpful. We included a Sri Lankan breakfast, which was delicious (expect big portions 😄).

Extremely nice owners. They would do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. Nice rooms. All clean and new, with a quality equipment . The house is set in a very nice and quiet area surrounded by nature. 10 mn walking distance from food ( restaurant and stores.) Beautiful garden too with table to enjoy and relax. Thanks for them!

    The location was brilliant for seeing all the sights of Mihantale & Caprillo our host was so helpful in advising us too, he is the best host. The place was lovely & comfortable & we were cooked the most exceptionally delicious curry dinners in the evenings, we absolutely loved the food! Breakfast was also wonderful. Mihantale itself is beautiful & interesting to explore too & we would recommend definitely staying here to see it. The best guest house we've stayed in throughout our holiday!

    Black and white themed guest house/hotel. Nice well kept tropical garden setting with a nice swimming pool and infant pool. Polite and helpful staff and owner family. Well located for visits to Mihintale Temple. Food and drink available on site. Other bars and restaurants are a short tuk tuk ride.

    Everything about this homestay is perfect! The food, the host, the location, the room. We wish we could have stayed longer. The host is so amazing and thoughtful and so knowledgeable on the area/ buddhist history. The food was incredible and Kapila really went above and beyond (he even taught me how to drive a tuk tuk). Staying at this homestay really made our trip to Anuradhapura/ Mihintale so special.

    Good location close to mihintale. Good value for money with good rooms, nice big pool and good selection of food. Good place for one night stay on our journey. The environment was great to relax after a long day driving.

    Awesome homestead with a friendly family running this place. Owner is a local tourist guide, but still gives very helpful advice although not going on a tour with him. It's ideally located within walking distance to bus stop and as well the local temple complex. It's clean, got hot showers and even little things as an adapter for international plugs. The top rating has been in my opinion well deserved.
