The personnel of the hotel were very kind and the food was really good, breakfast was awesome. If you rent a motorbike or car you can visit the best beaches on the area within a short period of time. Our stay at the hotel was super so we highly recommend this hotel as an option to stay on the south of Sri Lanka.

This property is an excellent stay in Mirissa, if we could give it more stars we would! The host family is incredibly kind, friendly and always greet you with a smile throughout the day. They provided us with a kettle and a charging adapter also for convenience. The facilities are great! The beds are comfortable, room clean and they have a full sized mosquito net around the beds. There is even hot water! The location was brilliant, there’s plenty of delicious food around, and in a short walk you can reach the Main Street. We ended up extending our stay because it was so great here.

It should be a really long list:) I stayed there for a month, working remotely and exploring the surroundings. The place is very clean, I could walk barefoot without any irritation. My room was cleaned and the linen was changed regularly. The hosts helped me with the laundry as well as with anything I might need. Me room was really good - spacious enough with a workspace, A/C, a wardrobe, big bathroom with hot water. What’s important- there were no mosquitoes in my room at all, no other bugs or animals, never. The homemade breakfasts were great- fresh fruit every day and some mix of local and European cuisine (I loved hoppers so much!). The garden is very beautiful, the location is perfect- not far from the beach, cafes, bus station, but very quiet. And the most important- the owners! It is a wonderful family which made me feel like home. I felt very comfortable and safe. They are very delicate and peaceful as well as helpful- mr. Sunil organized a whale watching trip for me and also joined me with their family on my trip to Udalawawe park. I had a wonderful chance to see the life of a local family and to feel as a part of it. I’m very grateful and will come again!

The villa is simply wonderful — cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. You can tell the hosts put their heart into it: everything is convenient, functional, and beautifully decorated. It was especially nice that everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The location is sooo cute, i loved the room, big and clean. The staff was very helpful, they offer different tours (I went on one and it was well organized) and discounts for the local restaurants. I was a little concerned booking here since it’s a new opening, but it ended up being a good choice, no complaints!

I had the most incredible stay at Polelanka!! The room was huge and most importantly came with air con! The staff were also the sweetest and most accommodating hosts ever, they let us do our washing and served incredible food with so many options on the menu. Do not hesitate to book this place one bit. It was also in a great location too!
