The family room is comfortable and large, great cabana with beautiful greens, it’s only 2 minutes walking to the beach, the local breakfast was delicious and generous portion. Staff is very kind and helpful we loved everything.

The privacy of having the entire 3rd floor for ourselves with kitchen, living room and balcony. Was such a great experience! Location was good for us! It is a 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach and a few minutes away from other beaches and attractions by scooter or tuk tuk. On top of it, the owner and his family are beautiful people. We loved it.

One of the best experiences in Sri lanka trip within 3 weeks. Amazing place, not only appartment but all Rekava. Definately one of the most underrated places in Sri lanka. If you are in doubts - you definately should go there. Peace, silence, nature, ocean, turtles, amazing people - this is Rekava. Lookout lodge is excelent accomodation - new house, all clean and comfy, perfect location near the beach and turtle watch center. Good restaurant nearby (reccomended by Chami). Excelent breakfast and peacefull conversations with owner. We felt like home there and all our wishes were fulfilled with smile. And - there is a pool now - we where the first users and it is great. Appriciated by our boys. Sorry that we booked just 2 nights there, would have liked to stay at least a couple more days. I recently stayed at Igabara Hobbit House Rakawa, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The place is truly special — surrounded by nature, filled with greenery, and designed with a lot of creativity and care. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a perfect escape from the busy city life. The room was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated in a unique hobbit-style design that makes you feel like you’re in a little hidden paradise. The garden area and pool are well maintained, and it’s such a nice spot to relax, read a book, or enjoy a quiet evening. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything needed. They made sure everything was comfortable during my stay. The location is also great — just a few minutes away from the beach, so you can enjoy both nature and the sea. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay. I would definitely recommend Igabara Hobbit House Rakawa to anyone who loves peaceful surroundings, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’ll surely visit again! 🌺✨

Really great place, just near the beautiful beach - walking distance. We were lucky that at the time we stayed we were only guests. We were surrounded by the nature and only nature sounds. Also the host was very welcoming and friendly. The night walk to see the turtles was really amazing. We enjoyed the place and hospitality so much, so we decided to stay longer there.

Perfect spot wish a wonderful location right in front of the beach and the lagune. Our room at the middle level in the main building had a great view and a cool breeze. There were kayaks (sit-on-top) to use in the lagune for free. At sunset you could see (a few hundred meters east) the tiny baby turtles being releasef from their nests and strugling to reach the sea. The staff were pleasent and very friendly.
