Our stay at The Yala Lodge was absolutely incredible. We had the great honor of being the very first guests – and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The villa and its private pool were so stunning that we actually postponed our safari by a day just to enjoy more time in this beautiful place. The villa is spacious, tastefully designed, and offers a breathtaking view of the lush greenery and pool. One of the highlights was being able to observe some wildlife right from the property – a truly special experience. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every meal was prepared with so much effort and love, and the food was fantastic. Communication with the very kind owner, Pradeep, was smooth and easy. He also provided us with great safari tips. Since we had to leave early for the safari (at 5:30 AM), they even packed us a lovely breakfast to take with us – such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless and met high Western standards – beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. If we ever come back to Yala, there’s no doubt – we’ll stay here again! Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

Very friendly hosts, we went to the morning safari and Sambadh (hope it’s the right spelling) cared for us all the time and even prepared lunch when we came back, food was really good.

The hotel/ houses are located in the jungle, creating a natural atmosphere. We stayed for one night, and it was a great experience — fully immersing ourselves in nature. We really liked the staff, the host contacted us in advance and met us with a jeep at the main road, then brought us to the hotel. We saw deer and monkeys near the hotel :) They prepared a vegan breakfast for us upon request and also packed food for our safari tour. The host was very friendly and helped us with the safari tour. During the tour, we saw leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and many other animals and birds. We were very happy with our trip!

Where do I begin... What an experience! We were picked up exactly at the time they said by the great jeep that already put us in the safari mood. We were expexting a nice tent but were blown away by the size of the tent and how comfortable it was. The dinner was nice as was the lunch the next day, but we didn´t come for food. THE BEST things were the night walk (scary!!!!) and the safari tour the next day and we had a great guide, Jelo, who made it extra fun and informative. Great sense of humor and an all round great guy! We saw the leopard! And monkeys, water buffalos, crocodiles, the list is long. The scenery took our breath away. Everything ran like clock work, very professional and friendly.

    Had a great stay at the hotel! Everything matched the booking price, and the staff were super helpful. The room was clean and cozy, with no issues at all. The location is a bit remote, but they offer a convenient ride for a fair price. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and had a good night's sleep. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing escape!

    An experience I didn’t know I need but I am so thankful for that. The view is just amazing and the wildlife is stunning. I saw so many animals I had never seen before in my life. The hosts are absolutely lovely and I will never forget how good they treated us.
