This place of Sri and his family is a truly hidden gem. So much love and calm you will find there within a truly authentic local experience. Highly recommend to stay there. We just stayed on night unfortunately but everything was truly amazing. Lovely host, communication, incredible breakfast and the room/house is in such a good calm nature area, still close to the city if you want to experience kandy.

First off if you think that for 8$ you're going to be staying at the Ritz then maybe you will be disappointed. However if you are looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience then you'll be fine. The welcome that you get from Fareed is only exceeded by the quality (and quantity) of his wife Roransa's home cooked food. Really it's Sri Lankan hospitality at it's best.

I had an amazing time here. The owners are so nice, they cooked me delicious food and took me on a tour of the whole Kandy!! They are so helpful and kind. The room was super clean and fresh, the Wi-Fi is super good and breakfast was 10/10!! I really recommend this place!

We enjoyed.the comfort and space of the Villa. The employees of the Villa, Raj and Akka made our stay extraordinary nice. They gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful in organizing our trips, serving deliciois food and helped with any need we had. Great owner! Comfortable bed, big and bright room. Hot water, good pressure, very clean. Complimentary tea. Kettle, glasses and water in the room. One of the best rooms we had in Sri Lanka! It might be tricky to find it but the view from the window is worth it.
