The family is lovely and helpful. The young boy was my favourite, we spent lot of time together and he is also an excellent driver. The lady is always smiling and great cook and the dad very helpful. I had a great stay and price was very good too. Very close to the lake and temple area.

Just had a wonderful two night stay in this beautifully kept hotel, set in woodland allowing wildlife-watching from the balcony. . The room was immaculately clean, light, airy and well presented. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in making our stay comfortable and our onward journey seamless. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were beautifully presented and excellent value.. We hired bikes (organised by the hotel) which were great for getting to and around the ancient city. Highly recommend a stay at Wildesacpe.

We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

Once we left the crowded Colombo we arrived to this magical and relaxing place, surrounded by nature and a few minutes away from Polonnaruwa. The place, the room, the bath, the hospitality and the GREAT host that we had really made our visit worth it. He tooked care of us and for everything that we needed, giving us recommendations, sharing with us delicious meals, inspiring conversations and moments that will remain with us forever. Nice, simple and very clean homestay, close to the ancient city. Possibility to rent a bike. I stayed only one night. Ravi the owner is very kind, humble and helpful, he even showed me around the lake with bicycles. And he always finds the solution;-)
